Why learn French? There are so many different reasons to learn the French language. Learning French allows you to communicate with other people who speak the language. This includes people you meet when traveling as well as people in your own community. It might also include your child, who may be enrolled in a French immersion program. Speaking a new language helps you get to know other cultures, since language and culture go hand in hand. It will allow you to enjoy literature, film and music in the original language. Since it's extremely difficult for a translation to be a perfect replica of the original, exploring the arts in the original language is the best way to understand what the author/director/producer/artist actually created. Speaking multiple languages is an ideal way to increase your marketability to schools and potential employers and will even help you gain a better understanding of English along the way. Foreign language study can also help to increase problem-solving skills, memory and self-discipline. |
Program Details: Achieve's Adult Conversational French Program runs for 8 consecutive weeks Each class is 2 hours in length and run by a Certified Francophone Teacher Daytime and evening classes are available All levels are welcome (Beg. / Int. / Adv.)
